Snow Salt ‘Yukishio’ comes from Miyako island in Okinawa. The salt is distilled from underground seawater. This texture and flavour of this Yukishio (snow salt) is a result of local natural limestone deposits and the instantaneous evaporation process used to refine the salt in Okinawa. This salt is mineral rich and clean tasting, with a snow-like texture.
